let me first say that our waitress was fantastic and I'm sorry that my man doesn't tap it! I wish I knew her name to mention it here, but I didn't. we ate here! we ordered every fish and chips — a broken, a baked — and also had a huge pot tee. it was all delicious and I loved how the tee came in a large white metal pot and the plates/coups were all metal; it was perfect for eating a hot meal on the coast on a windy cool day. in any case plan to visit again if we are ever in the opposite.
Just to say thanks for a lovely lunch on Friday afternoon. My wife is unable to eat dairy currently so we ventured here since you do a dairy free batter. The food was excellent really fresh and tasty and my wife was delighted with...her first chippy in a long time! Also big thanks to the waitress who was lovely and looked after us so well. My wife and I both agreed that we would come here next time rather than your more famous neighbour along the road.
As my husband is a wheelchair user we used the take away service, but next time will sit in as there is disabled access and facilities in the restaurant. The gluten free fish and chips are excellent, the batter crisp and golden and the haddock...deliciously fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly, professional and take great pride in their products. Don’t go anywhere else in Anstruther for your fish and chips!
My wife and myself were meeting a friend and it was suggested to meet at the Wee Chippy in Anstruther. What a delightful place. It is beautiful inside and very clean. The staff that looked after us were super friendly and helpful. They have a...broad menu, we all went for the fish and chips. They were cooked to perfection with excellent presentation. this was our first visit as a family on a cold april evening, we received a warm reception on the door and showed us on our table. the eating was plentiful and hot, the service was very good, the little ones that served us were very competent and always has a smile. will we bet you again?
have fish sauces here on Sunday, chips were best moderate, fish sprinkler was nice and crispy, but if in most cases no white meat inside and what was super dry as overcooked!. and just under me I won't be back. there is much better and cheaper just on the rd on crail.
king Rib-Sapper-Fishsepper and twirl rings near and to be honest, it was average king rib tasteless better to be somewhere else. local chippy so an uplift of about to sit and it is. to freeze .... not bad eating only average
