After staying nearby, we decided to dine out for our usual Sunday treat. We made a reservation two days in advance for four adults for Sunday lunch, and agreed upon a convenient time. Upon arrival, we ordered two delicious pints of 'Youngs old London' beer and two soft drinks for the ladies before being seated in a cozy snug area with a real wood fire. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a period dining room, with lovely beams and wooden tables. We ordered roast Sunday dinners, with my choice being the beef option. The slices of beef were succulent and the homemade roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, and other vegetables were all delicious. The gravy was exceptional....
