the gastschiff thetis has a fixed berth at the ruhr (stausee) in the dining area of Kettwig.E.s offers German and international cuisine. on beautiful days is a terrace built on the ship to the water side. from there you have a beautiful view over the lake.The service, the offer of the kitchen and the price ratio of this special ambietes are worth a recommendation.
I was in this place for the first time, and I went back and forth after the visit. The curry sausage with Pommes and Mayo tasted a little warmed up. However, the service was friendly and the ambience outside and inside very nicely designed. In contrast to the curry sausage, the remaining food was delicious and sufficiently warm.
From the food you should not expect too much as it almost consistently simple dishes, but they taste. The staff was not unfriendly with us. But the visit is definitely worth it because of the unique atmosphere. After dinner you can walk around the Ruhr or visit the old town of Kettwig.

Der Kellner hatte leider damals nicht seinen besten Tag: Zuerst durften wir mehr als eine 1/2 h auf unseren bestellten Aperol Spritz warten … der war dort auch schon mal besser… , woran wir dann zuerst auch noch schuld sein sollten, warum auch immer
