Just be careful with the bill, they were charging me more than 20 dollars more, it's a lot!! And the cook was still upset. I don't know if he is the owner, but I asked them to do the bill again because even then they don't give you a receipt and that's where they take the opportunity to overcharge you!!! When you ask for the bill, they don't give you anything, they just tell you a total without a receipt. The good thing is that I have a good memory and I'm good at math!!!
The owner is fantastic, but the staff could use some improvement. The food is delicious, but the prices are high. For example, the asada fries, two soups, and a glass bottle of Coke came to $30, and the soups didn’t include rice and beans. The receipt wasn’t itemized, which made me feel like they make up the prices on the spot and use the language barrier as an excuse when they overcharge.
The place is very quiet and well received, although it is a little small, it is the most interesting and most Mexican that I have seen with photographs of Pancho Villa when he was killed and Emilio Zapata and other interesting photographs and a little bit of history and very delicious food.
