This place is a hidden gem, a small and cosy restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Japanese food. Was initially discouraged by the string of recent bad reviews, but IGNORE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. I received nothing but the best customer service, and left incredibly satisfied. Definitely will be coming back, and I recommend non-locals to seek this place out.
This is our usual place to dine if we want really yummy authentic Japanese food, my whole family and friends enjoyed the food every time! They do phone bookings and usually tried to accommodate us even without booking. The Salmon Belly sushi is definitely great value, so are the Lunch specials. Dinner menu is not big but all very delicious and freshly made.
This is THE best Japanese restaurant i have ever been to. The 1 star ratings on this website are complete nonsense. I would recommend anyone try it if they like Japanese. Please note: the restaurant seats about 20 people only so make sure to book in advance! The Tuna Sushi is so **** delicious!
Very good Japanese food. Bento boxes are great value and very filling. My family and I usually eat at Ashfield when we crave Japanese, but we've agreed this will be our new spot!
