Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. Burnt cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ...
The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!
This restaurant is always a reliable option with great margaritas and interesting food choices. However, the carnitas seems to have changed as I didn't enjoy the wet sauce on top, as it made the dish soggy. The service during this visit was a bit lacking in attentiveness.
Original drinks are off the hook. And the hostess and other girls very nice. Sam was waiting for us and we couldn't have asked for a better waiter. He was informed about the place, the food, the drinks, etc. Appreciate that.

The waiter was an idiot, tried to sell everything and was rude and slow to bring everything we asked for. The food was mediocre at best, the sauces were over the top and the tortillas tasted stale. Wouldn't recommend!
Delicious food, great service ... but way too loud. We were sitting by the window ... it was hot and loud. We had to shout at each other to hear our conversation. Big ****.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The salsa is amazing and the mole is absolutely delicious. I make sure to visit every time I am in Laguna Beach.
This was one of our places, but tonight was a disappointment. I think everyone is entitled to a free night.
