This is one of the finest dinning establishments in 3 counties . My dinner partner and I were greeted and seated with friendly smiles and charm. The drinks were top shelf and the food served timely and in appetizing presentation. As I prepared the leftovers in a take out tray , the servings were very plentiful and paid the bill , I left my wallet inside near the register . I was pleasantly surprised when the lady at the register ran after me outside to return me my wallet containing $600 in cash and all my bank cards and identification. Honest good people serving honest good food....
The best chimichanga in Goldsboro can be found at Torero's. The crust is incredibly crunchy yet still fluffy, with a delicious layer of shredded cheese. I always find myself disappointed when I go to other restaurants and they put cheese sauce on top of their chimichangas, turning them into glorified burritos with no crunch. I've been dining at Torero's since it first opened, and I've never ordered anything other than the chimichanga because it is just that good. I keep telling myself I should try something else, but why would I want to mess with perfection?
I used to visit this restaurant regularly, but since the pandemic, I have only been ordering takeout. Unfortunately, the quality has significantly declined. I recently placed an order for a beef burrito and a chicken enchilada lunch combo, but the manager seemed confused and gave me the wrong order. My wife is allergic to beef, so I specifically requested chicken enchiladas. Despite being a long-time customer, I was disappointed in the mix-up and wasted $8. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
a great discovery for me! the place is clean, festive and welcoming. the service was prompt, friendly and welcoming. the menu was well organized and offered great pictures of each offer. the food was authentic, served in massive portions, well presented and delicious. I had no bad bite, ate my full and took enough to lunch the next day. the prices were very reasonable and the shares considered a bargain. I want to make this a regular stop when traveling between raleigh and new bern!

we had such a great experience here. the owner was our server and brought samples of special drinks he made himself. he was so helpful and taught us about some of the special ingredients he used. my daughter likes typical Mexican food and he was very helpful in looking for a dish she could enjoy. the margaritas were delicious. I highly recommend this place.
2nd time I have had this dish and wow. 4 stars because the pepper in the Chile Reno was too tough to eat but everything else was I recommend the corn tortillas for this dish as the flower ones just don’t do it justice. In all including service 4.5 stars but no .5 on google so 4 it is
Had our company Christmas party here. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast. The food was outstanding! I will most definitely be going back, and I highly recommend Torero's, whether for a group outing, a quick lunch, or a date night.
Absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious. Some of the best I have had. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I went 2 times in one week and will Absolutely return again.
