Awful! Don’t bother wasting your time. This place used to be great, but ever since the new management took over, the quality has plummeted. They never have tortas ahogadas available. We arrived at 10 AM when they had only served about 10 customers, and they didn’t have any available again until between 12 PM and 1:30 PM. We even tried returning at 11:30 AM, but there was still nothing. The staff seems very lazy and rude. I sincerely hope they replace the whole team, especially the manager, as soon as possible. If you're thinking about dining here, I strongly suggest reconsidering.
I definitely do NOT recommend this restaurant. They frequently say they’re out of food, even though you can see the staff bringing in supplies. It feels like they just don't want to put in the effort. I much prefer Tortas Ahogadas El Rey in Huntington Park; everything is much better there! The service is excellent, whereas here the staff has a rude attitude and won't serve customers until between noon and 2 PM.
They were popping out orders of tacos, after my order was taken, then served me a skimpy torta, with little meat, that was soggy, cause they used the wrong bread, and the salsa was not spicey the way it should be for a torta ahogada, will never eat there again, big thumbs down????
First torta we ever tried and it was pretty good. Super flavorful, the torta just soaked all the juice and sauce. It was quite a morning starting off with that meal. The spice level was just right and the meat was tender and oozing with juices. Going to come back for sure.

This is the only spot in the city where I can savor Menudo every day of the week, and they prepare it exactly how I love it. I just walk in, pay, and they know exactly what I want. If you're in search of authentic food, this place is a must-try!
Bread was like a rock!!! Ordered lonche caliente and it was stale and tasteless!!! Would not recommend at all, unless you want your teeth broken! I would give zero stars if possible with the worlds worst review! AVOID!!!!!
I loved this place. The torta was good maybe just more meat lol. the burrito was great. Just the quesadilla needs to be cook in lower heat because the cheese wasn't melted . overall great for the price and service
The restaurant has new management and staff! The customer service and food are outstanding. The owner is frequently present, which is likely a response to feedback about the team.

I love the rositas ahogadas, I'm from Jalisco ... but I did not like the bolillo so much. very dry and crumbles. the taquitos dorados they are delicious.
The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food.
