I stopped by this restaurant after a hike at Patapsco Park and had a fantastic meal accompanied by excellent service. The ambiance perfectly captures the charm of historic Ellicott City, featuring vintage floors, ceilings, and stone walls. I highly recommend trying the French dip and the onion soup. Our server was especially thoughtful, even offering our boys some corn to feed the ducks at the river just across the street. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
I had my first experience at The Trolley Stop, and it was definitely a delightful venture into something new. The food was excellent! I had never tasted blueberry pancakes like those before. My omelette was perfectly cooked, and the fries complemented the meal wonderfully. The toast was incredibly soft and didn't even need butter. This place has officially become my go-to spot for takeout breakfast, especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
It was somewhere between okay and good enough. The food was fine, but nothing great. U did enjoy my dish, steak with crab cake but the other two dishes we got were average. The atmosphere was like a local pub/bar with screens showing sports and signs for PowerBall or similar tickets around the bar but seen by most of the restaurant spaces. For all these maybe it was a bit pricey after all.
