I've been to Udupi many times, in groups, pairs, and on my own. I've learned that it's best to just get the buffet, particularly if you like your food spicy, because no matter how spicy you tell the waiters you want it, they'll give you no spice at all. The buffet, however, has nice, spicy, authentic, vegetarian Indian food. Lots of options for vegans as well. If you do get the buffet, the waiters will also bring delicious, crispy, potato-filled Dosas to the table, as many as you want, at no extra charge.
I found the online menu difficult to navigate (the points not marked clearly as vegan), but I came and ate on their outdoor covered terrace and their menu was very clearly marked with a tonne vegan option. so refreshing, with confidence looking through and it was delicious to boot! highly recommended!
Ate here once and thoroughly enjoyed it. Vibe is very family oriented which is a nice perk. Service level is very high and staff were great about pointing out what had dairy. Only had one buffet, but the everything was delicious and better than generic chana masala or aloo gobhi.
So Good! A great way to try multiple Indian dishes if you've had limited opportunities to try them. So much flavor and so many spices used! Some dishes may be spicy to anyone not accustomed to them. Take small portions at first them go back for what you like. Many vegan options

Good food, but no presentation and the place needs a good reno or atleast of the entrance area should be held well. Only getting vegetarian food is a treat, so will definitely visit again, but the restaurant owners should really look into customer feedbacks.
my (vegan) man and I ordered here yesterday evening during the stay in durban (we are from so cal), and it was all very good! the courts were all sharp that we love! we have bhatura, a fried aubergine bowl and vegetable Authappam!
this is the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. it is spicy, but not excessive. I have the appetizer board and it wasn't disappointed. would highly recommend this place if they enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.
One of my favorite restaurants in the area both for their lunch buffet and excellent full menu in the evening. Spicy, flavorful and always a nice place to visit-whether in a group, or by yourself.

I love South Indian so of course I love this restaurant. Though it is not the best South Indian food I've ever had it is a great find for Cary.
