Let me start by saying the food is always fantastic here and I have no complaints about the quality of the food at all. We come here quite often and recommend it to a lot of people. I booked for my wife’s birthday and we arrived we were told we had an hour and a half to eat and leave. Seemed a little rude but we thought it would be fine. We placed our order and they only asked us for starters then came back about 20 mins later to order mains (not our choice to do it that way) We were served by 2 different waiters and when our mains came out they forgot to put through 2 of the 4 main meals. I did not make a reservation, but when I arrived at the nearly empty restaurant, I was seated next to the only other occupied table. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, we were not allowed to sit elsewhere due to reservations. We spent nearly an hour in the restaurant without any other customers arriving. A woman wearing a hijab had her two children seated at a table, but instead of moving them when the reserved customers arrived, she suggested they sit elsewhere. However, we were not allowed to move. We tried this unassuming local restaurant, near a student population area of which the establishment is catered for. But don't make the assumption that this tidy eatery is nothing short of finesse. We dined outside and ordered a light dinner and I must admit it is better than expected, even though this place serves the locals' online takeouts and walk-ins. Very generous, freshly cooked and prepared with very few shortfalls but overall a delicious meal altogether. Ordered the mixed grill with bulgar wheat and the 5 mezes of which is the most hearty Turkish meal so far in the South. I will definetely revisit this establishment again for our Turkish cuisine fix.
First time trying uni kebab, and we will definitely be back. Great food 5 adults and a 2 year old we shared the jumbo platter and the hot meze to start all was lovely. Probably one of the best meals we’ve eaten in a long time and we eat out regularly. Vibes were good restaurant is well presented and clean. Food was fantastic meat was cooked perfectly. How people can write bad reviews is beyond me. Waiters and waitresses were attentive and happy.

I recently dined at Uni Kebab for the first time, upon the recommendation of one of my students. Initially, I ordered a lentil soup with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by the delicious taste, especially the hint of lemon that added a burst of flavor. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience, I will definitely be returning.
But having read your reviews ;;;a lot say the same as I’m thinking. Get staff that are as passionate about your restaurant as a lot of your customers are. Your food is fabulous BUT you have some staff . not all) that really don’t want to be bothered being there ;;;which is a shame as it spoils the eating experience at your other wise perfect eatery because eating out is the whole package and this is where the Uni Kebab fails. You can’t go posh with kebab….. I have eaten a lot of kebabs this was the worst ever had and at £10.95 for a wrap and small chips plus a service charge of £1.10 The wrap I had was ment to be mixed hardly any meat at all just salad I’ve eaten better from kebab vans…. Do not recommend WORST PLACE EVER….,, How ever have they got rewards I never know I could do better in my home kitchen
Good food, though some kebab’s slightly dry. But the biggest issue we found was rushed service. As soon as we sat down and was given the menu, we were asked to order drinks. As soon as ordered drinks, another came to take our mains orders. And some staff not bothered at all. They have to understand that they are not fast food kebabs anymore, but a restaurant.

so food is good but not enough time to eat the mezze before the mains arrive, the place was very cold so had to eat with coats on and still cold, doors open at both back and front making it even colder, uncomfortable temperature to enjoy the meal. Think staff in a hurry to turn the tables even not busy.
