a friend recommended weather, and it was close to our hotel, so we gave it a try. they warned us that it would take about minutes to get our food when we came in and they were about right. the beer and the Riesling wine. Good! there was nothing special about the sprouts, so skip them! our shinitzel was good as the mushroom soup. the service was slow. we noticed that the English menu mentioned that tip was not included in the price on the menu, the German menu has not said anything about a tipp.
The food, the service, ambiance and location all combine to make Vetter’s a great choice in Heidelberg. We shared appetizers and sausage and cabbage entree. Portions were very generous. The house red wine was excellent, as was the dessert, strudel. Service was attentive and friendly....Highly recommend
I'm thrilled. Here you can taste the difference between manual work in a beer factory and mass production. I can recommend the Vetter 33 as a dessert beer after a good meal. It is nice that a sample set is offered in small glasses. Overall, I can highly recommend a visit.

We stopped here after our walk along the Philosophenweg and had a small meal white sausages and excellent beer. The price was very reasonable. I don't usually drink beer, but made an exception here! And I am glad I did
In the middle of the old town. 100m from the bridge. Seats outside directly on the Flanierstraße. Friendly, young staff. Food tasty. Prices usual. World champion beer also for takeaway. Sanitary clean. You're welcome.
Spetzler was sehr gut and billiger. The portion tho wasn't as big as some other restaurants. Overall very good and staff was very friendly. Would recommend booking fist cause it's always packed
