I first came here around spring time and it’s one of my favorite spots to come to for food and drinks. I have brought all my friends and family here and they have all loved it. I have NEVER had a bad server. They are always so sweet and attentive. The service is like the Trader Joe’s/Nordstroms of restaurants. Lol. I had the chili verde the first time I came and it was delicious. The second time, I tried the chimichanga and I get it every time now as my entree (it’s an appetizer). The queso fundido is delicious and the mushroom quesadilla. I always want to try something new for my entree, but I’m a creature of habit. I brought a first-timer to the restaurant, and she absolutely loved it! We kicked off the evening with the El Salud Margarita, which was fantastic. The salsa was amazing as well—smoky but not overly spicy. I enjoyed a Chicken Tinga taco and a Hongos taco, and both were delicious in terms of flavor and presentation. The weather was chilly, in the high 40s, and my only suggestion would be for the restaurant to close the large windows to the patio when people book inside tables during colder weather. Although we were technically inside, we were seated right next to the open area. The hostess was very kind and provided us with blankets for our laps, but we still needed our jackets to stay warm.
Vida in Riviera Village Redondo Beach is truly a great place for casual upscale value with freshest ingredients and detailed prep and service. Convivial atmosphere great outdoor dining area excellent mixologists who personally serve cocktails and piping hot soups, built well salads and the best high quality tacos and homemade tostadas including chipotle chicken, grilled octopus, wild cod and many many others. Outstanding for brunch lunch or supper. Truly an experience. New affiliated restaurant right near opening this week. Have fun. Casey Ken.
The fried fish taco was served cold, and so was the coffee. Additionally, none of the four people at our table received cutlery sets. On the bright side, the churros were delicious, and the server was friendly. Unfortunately, the overall quality of our visit fell short.

We sat outside, and even though it was quite chilly, they provided heaters for us, which was nice. The ambiance was fantastic overall. However, the food was overly salty. Every taco we tried was very salty, particularly the Al pastor tacos with pineapple.
If you go here, make sure Dylan is your server. He's the best. We love the Birria tacos on Taco Tuesday. The surf and turf burrito is amazing!
The atmosphere was pleasant, and the Baja shrimp burrito was excellent. However, the beer prices were on the higher side.
The food is really good. The service today was not as good as the first time I was there.
