Set in an awkward corner of The Passage food court, you could be forgiven for walking straight past Viet Bowl or assuming that it is just another run of the mill banh mi stand.<br/ <br/ I come here weekly for the combination noodle salad (number 1 on the menu) which never disappoints. Having tried the noodle salad of every credible Sydney purveyor, i can say that the noodle salad here stands toe to toe with the best of them (which in my view is Phu Quoc in Cabramatta). The spring rolls are crispy and plentiful. The bbq pork is smoky and tasty. And the salad and noodles are fresh and served in just the right portions.<br/ <br/ This place is a must for anyone who loves a good Vietnamese noodle...

Located in The Passage with entrances from both Castlereagh and Pitt Streets, it is part of a small food court in here. They’ve got a pretty good operation going with the friendly lady taking orders and money with one manning the front food station and efficiently making each order with the third person helping out. <br/ <br/ Eyeing off the menu board, it was a warm day so went with a Vermicelli Salad Bowl. Vermicelli Combination 1 (grilled pork, 1 chicken spring roll and pork sausage) was calling my name. in an awkward corner of the passage food court, they could be forgiven to just walk past viet bowl or provided that there is only another run of the mill banh mi standing here weekly for the combination nudelsalat (number 1 on the menu), which never disappointed. After trying the nudelsalat from any credible sydney purse, I can say that the nudelsalat is here with the best of them (which is in my own phu quoc in cabramatta.) the spring rolls are crispy and plentiful. the bbq is smokey and tasty. and the salad and the noodles are fresh and served in the right portions this place is one must for anyone who loves a good Vietnamese nudelsalate. normally very good, but terrible service today by kerl in black hoodie sweater. licks your change over the counter, rubs his nose over the food, no interest in talking to you, simply pushes you to eat to them without asking whether his withdrawal or eating, wiggles the chili sauce in their face. just rude. I'm back. Book a table now

Usually very good, but terrible terrible service of Guy in black hooded sweater. Flakes your change over the counter, rubs his nose over the food, no interest in talking to you, just writes your food on you, without asking if his snack and it is, the chili sauce wobbles in your face ... just rude. Will not be back.
