I’ve been visiting Vino Volo since it first opened (back when it was in the other terminal), and I've always been satisfied with their excellent selection of wines by the glass and intriguing small plates. The standout feature, however, is the staff; their knowledgeable and attentive service is truly commendable—whatever you’re paying them, they deserve more! That said, the menu really needs an update, as it hasn’t changed in YEARS. Additionally, please consider lowering the volume of the dreadful music; it’s quite overwhelming, and I often have to ask the staff to turn it down. It makes it difficult to focus on work between flights.
After traveling all day and 7.5 hours of delays at Dulles this place and the staff were a beacon of humanity. Welcoming environment, jazz on the tune box, perfectly curated wine by the glass and flights, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service and a tasty cheese plate made a long day of travel immediately better. I was looking for a light but solid plant-based dinner and found 2 great vegan options on the menu: Tomato Bruschetta and Avocado Beet Salad. Both were excellent, the ingredients fresh and high-quality, full of flavor and generously sized portions, at a fair price. Service was expeditious, friendly and professional. Excellent lunch. One of the few places in the airport to get nice food that won’t make you sick after or empty your wallet either. It was a really nice lunch.
