I traveled an hour to enjoy breakfast at this wonderful restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We were seated right away upon arrival on a beautiful autumn Wednesday morning. Our server, Christine, was warm and provided great recommendations. We started with the Brown Bear coffee and chose to order a stack of Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with blueberries. They were some of the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. We also tried the Salmon Eggs Benedict, accompanied by a side of crispy bacon. Every bite was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. We visited on Wednesday morning, right as school was starting, and the place was bustling. Fortunately, we were able to sit at the counter without any wait. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was smaller and lighter compared to other versions I've had before, and I really enjoyed it. It was flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. Celiac Annie opted for the breakfast special, one of the few gluten-free options on the menu. While it was a bit dry, it was still quite good overall. The highlight of our meal was definitely the side of breakfast potatoes, which were topped with an incredible sauce. I can't wait to go back!
Sunday brunch here is crowded, but a lot of fun. The menu is regularly updated, and the offerings are unique enough to be worth making a reservation for a guaranteed spot.
