Die Buchscheer ist das, was ich mir unter guter Ebbelwoi-Kneipe so vorstelle: Nix Schickimicki, keine Touristen, gutes Essen und ein lecker selbstgekeltertes Stöffsche. Im Sommer sitzt man draussen bequem und im Schatten, ansonsten im geräumigen Lokal an blanken Tischen - eben so, wie es sein soll. Die Bedienungen sind, für eine Äpplerkneipe, unheimlich freundlich und stressresistent. Im Sommer wuseln zusätzlich Aushilfen (denke ich mal) auf der Terrasse herum und ergänzen den Service sehr gut. This was worth a ride to Louisa on the Strassenbahn--it's just a minute walk east of the stop. The Thomas family--I think--have made their own Apfelwein here for generations. It was tasty and refreshing, while the clientel was definitely not touristic. I can't...tell if they also serve beer, so if you have some Apfelwein apostates in your group, check the online menu first. Their grüne Soße was also good quality.
eating and apple wine were excellent! we are a small apfelbauer in the usa and wanted to experience German hard metal. from the places we tried was far the best! it was packed with all local people, always a...big sign for good eating. we went over a mile from our hotel and we needed the exercise after this wonderful meal. the apartment was packed by waitstaff and was also very nice.

Und so schön innen wie außen. Schnell zum Mittagessen würden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und sofort bedient. Das Essen kam sehr zügig und war sehr lecker. Ich hatte Lust auf ein super einfaches Essen und nahm die Fleischwurst. Leckeres Kartoffelpüree mit tollem Sauerkraut, war das ein tolles Essen!Gerne kommen wir wieder!
Familienfeier mit 10 Leuten in der Buchscheer....Bedienung freundlich, aber ein wenig überfordert. Rippchen top, Ribs und Soße waren ein wenig fade... und von dem toll aussehenden Nachtisch hatte ich mir geschmacklich etwas mehr erwartet ....! Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder und hoffen auf den 5. Stern....
Abhängig von der Menge der Gäste und der Laune der Bedienung haben wir hier schon sehr nette aber auch Abende mit schlechtem Service erlebt. Das Essen ist gute Frankfurter Küche ohne etwas speziell herausragendes. Der Apfelwein schmeckt sehr gut.
