a bite' is located in the center of Dickson's China city. what met me first was their unusual selection of objects in the whole restaurant, like an absolutely enormous teddy bear near the beginning, toy wooden airplanes hanging on the deck and a bookcase fuller. the menu seemed excessively complicated to me and even two young Asian youngs took one because to decrypt the menu and order their meal. to confuse the dinge a little more, there were two large open refrigerators in the middle of the restaurant, where they chose ingredients for their meal and placed in a container. I like the concept, but I didn't have the time to work everything, and I trust even the chef's decisions more than mine....

This is a Chinese eatery, and as far as I know, there is nowhere like this at least in Canberra. The majority of their main dishes are rice and noodle dishes, but different from what you find at other Chinese restaurants. Rice noodle dishes and chicken rice casserole are very nice. They also have numerous exotic small dishes, some of which don't sound inviting (think about pig's trotters, duck feet, duck giblets, etc.) Maybe these dishes put off some people - you hardly see non-Asian customers at this place. They have other less exotic dishes too. (seaweed, black fungus, Chinese style beef jerky, etc.). Their medium hot is quite hot so watch out if you are asked how hot you want your food to...

This Chinese restaurant in Canberra offers a unique dining experience with a variety of rice and noodle dishes that stand out from other Chinese eateries. Their rice noodle dishes and chicken rice casserole are particularly delicious. In addition to these main dishes, they also serve a selection of exotic small dishes, including pig's trotters, duck feet, and duck giblets, which may not appeal to everyone. The restaurant mainly attracts Asian customers, but they also offer less exotic options like seaweed, black fungus, and Chinese style beef jerky. Be cautious when ordering as their medium hot dishes are quite spicy. The service is satisfactory, and although the restaurant may only deserve...

It was over price and overrated. The menu was overly complicated. I order the "crossing the bridge" dish, and it came out with 2 core ingredients missing (chicken and pork cracklings), my friend order the same dish and also missing the same thing. After letting the staff know 4 times it, they finally came at the end of our meal to tell us that they ran out. We ordered the goji based soup as it was advertised as authentic wholesome Chinese flavour, however it was just the basic soup with a few Goji berry chucked in there for an extra $2. When they finally served the chicken, it was a dry piece of chicken cut from the chicken carcasses from their soup stock. Overall a very disappointing experi... Book a table now

it was above the price and overestimated. the menu was overly complicated. I command the crossing of the bridge shell, and it came with 2 core components missing (height and blacks,) my friend order the same plate and also lacked the same. After the hired had met 4 times, they finally came to the end of our meal to tell us they ran out. we ordered the goji-based suppe, as it was advertised as an authentic full-fledged Chinese aroma, but it was just the soup with a few goji berry that was there for an extra $2. when they finally served the chicken, it was a dry piece of chicken meat that was cut from the suppening stock by the chicken carcasse. a very disappointing experience from beginning t...

The food at this restaurant is very authentic, but I noticed that their steamed rice is not fully cooked. Additionally, the cute chopstick holders on each table are never washed and reused, which could lead to the spread of contagious diseases if used chopsticks are returned to them. The water glasses also appear to be poorly cleaned, as there are visible marks around the edges. I hope that the restaurant takes note of these issues and improves their cleanliness practices.

I was in Canberra for work and the room service menu was overpriced and unexciting. I ordered the bark sauce soup with noodles, bark steak, and a side of trip. I found the trip and steak dishes to be quite delicious, with a strong garlic, spicy, and smoky chili flavor. However, I thought the soup noodles were too salty for my taste, even though the noodles were cooked perfectly and the meat was incredibly tender. Overall, I really enjoyed the flavors of the meal.

Had the beef crossing bridge soup, and was advised by the waitress not to have the spicy option as a beginner to the restaurant, so had the plain. Added the spicy oil myself and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and the decor nice. Definitely...go back again. Book a table now

Best Chinese food since China. Many eating Across the Bridge noodles, but we settled for old favourites beef tendon Sichuan, garlic and vinegar cucumber, sour potato noodles, etc. Service is enthusiastic, if a bit sporadic.
