Dropped in for a lateish lunch around 1:30pm on a Friday. Ordered the Pho Tai from the disinterested waiter. What should have been a basic Pho with thinly sliced rare beef turned out to be something very mediocre.The test of a good Pho is the broth and this was very disappointing with no depth of flavour, poorly seasoned and not particularly hot. I'm going to hazard a guess the broth was a cheap powdered stock or made with very lack lustre ingredients. Instead of some nice fresh red chilli as a side it instead came with a table spoon of some sort of chilli sauce and a tablespoon of XO sauce. We were invited to this restaurant and had never seen it before. The menu choices were extensive and the prices about the "norm", but when the portion size was huge, this made dinner fantastic value for money. Apparently the Laksa is the pick of the menu, but I had a beef dish and my husband had duck, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed both. It's BYO everything, the decor is nothing flash, but the service was fast and efficient. Will definitely return visit
Been going here since it opened. Great location, fantastic laksa and friendly service. My wife has the roast duck rice and it is delish. I have the prawn laksa. Gotta be the best I've had in a long time. I used to think the laksa at Dickson noodle house was the best, this one here is equal or better in quality and taste. The location is great too. Overlooks the lake. Lovely view while eating. Been here many times. You won't regret it.

This little Asian gem is located just near the lake and has one of the best Laksas I have tried. Busy little restaurant and service is quick and friendly

The best pad thai around and it's huge! Fantastic laksa too. It's usually pretty busy but you don't usually have to wait long for food.
