Recently visited this establishment. Whilst the staff were quite agreeable, the food and hygiene were dispicable and way overpriced. I suppose the Cirque de Gavarnie high had temporarily blinded us when we decided to take a light lunch here. I won't go into great details,...but there is nothing special or good to write about here, and if you just need a cup of tea and have plenty of euros to spend, then this is the place for you. I am sure that there may be better places in Gavarnie but we just didn't have the time to look further.
hotel du cirque is a restaurant near cirque de gavarnie (a natural amphitheater with a high waterfall,) in French pyrenäen, in the south of the country. in the did it has a very nice terrace from where you can see a wonderful view of the cirque. really amazing! I came here to relax and drink a beer after I arrived from the waterfall very nice. (See also cirque de gavarnie and office de tourisme de gavarnie)
they heard about the walk. now they can hear from this sweet little restaurant. after almost an hour long walk in cirque gavarnie, what a joy it was to stop and have a burger, pommes and a drink in the crazy cool restaurant. So... what if they don't have their favorite dish, I mentioned it's gonna take an hour to get there. to foot! my man and I loved it.

we went to the more difficult stretch along the side of the valley, most of what was a rather hot morning and so came here a beer and eating were very welcome. personal and service is great and I had a very beautiful Belgian. beer and chips, right. sitting on the terrace tables, the view of the cirque is amazing and that gives them time to enjoy it.
beautiful walk, beautiful landscapes, quiescence, water noise. I'm not a sportsman, but I've come to it, it's been a lot, you have to take some time to go to the Gavarnie circus. This whole climb is really worth it. then take the time to admire the environment that you feel very small
beautiful site, direct view of the cascade of all rooms. hotel refurbished with taste, decoration and furnishing of high quality. Super breakfast, very hearty dinner and bottle of champagne in the room on arrival made an exceptional stay
At that altitude, we enjoyed the Assiette du randonneur and the Assiette montagnarde presented with local food and fresh bread. The waitress was also very kind, always smiling and willing to help. To summarise, we spent a good time.

Only 4* for the hours a little fair in the evening but we were very well received during our rando in Gavarnie, passing through the shelter of the Pailha
this place has a decent job. I wouldn't say we were gone. it's nothing special. only if the good restaurants are full, it is not much cheaper than them.
