The motel where I was staying did not offer breakfast due to COVID restrictions. Luckily, this restaurant was just a short walk from the motel and I noticed that other guests also frequented the establishment. The food and coffee were delicious, with most of the menu items and prices displayed on a board. However, breakfast options were not listed. After seeing another customer order a bacon and egg roll, I decided to try the same. While waiting for my order, I discovered a hidden sign advertising eggs benedict, which I would have ordered if I had known. Next time, I will definitely try that dish.

This bakery is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed! We visited three mornings in a row during our stay and were impressed by the friendly service, delicious coffee, and wide selection of freshly baked goods. My husband enjoyed the tasty bacon and egg rolls for breakfast, while I tried a variety of items like fresh fruit, raspberry white chocolate muffin, and a ham and cheese croissant. If you're passing through Batehaven or staying nearby, be sure to stop by for breakfast. The pies and sausage rolls for lunch are also fantastic.

Services was lovely followed my very nice pie, Cornish pastie and pumpkin pastie, also us . three enjoyed a very nice milkshake. It was after 2 in the afternoon and there was still plenty to choose from . A great spot for locals and visitors like us . They have upstairs, out the front or inside to eat . My husband enjoyed also a cream bun . When down here again we will revisit

They prepare everything in-house, and it really shows. Unlike many other places that serve outsourced food. Additionally, it was a nice refuge from the rain.
