Used to visit several times a week but, the food and service incredibly inconsistent. Steaks frequently overcooked, table service slow, drinks overpriced- especially for a pub, specials unavailable. Specials are supposed to be for that day or week but hardly ever change and often not available so, menu becomes boring especially for regular diners. Organised a huge party there with a set menu but a lot of what was in the set menu wasn't provided. Issues arose with the bill but, rather than argue about paying for items we didn't receive we copped it on the chin and cut back on the frequency of visits. I am giving this restaurant a 1 star due to the extremely rude pizza chef (owner)? We are regulars at this restaurant but our last 2 visits we walked out shaking our heads, first our steaks were over cooked and we asked if we could get it re-done. The chef comes screaming saying we were wrong! We thought we will give this restaurant one more chance. This visit they have changed their chef and our food was cooked perfectly, as we were about to walk out, my husband went to the counter and made a few good compliments, the pizza chef (owner)? Stopped in here to try the meals out. Nice ambience and a Reasonable menu was quite appealing. We had the chicken schnitzel (huge and quite tasty!) and the prosciutto pizza (good size, and moderately tasty, but quite a dry pizza base).I'd try a different pizza next time, but all round was a reasonable experience.
Great ambience and well presented restaurant with light and fresh character...menu is well rounded and fresh biased . Very enjoyable food served with a smile. We will be back! Good value with great and easy access location

Location: The location is quite convenient, situated on the corner of Burwood Road and Parramatta Road with ample parking available and near bus stops. It is also within walking distance from Burwood train station.
I have to admit, it was a bit disappointing. I may consider returning if I have no other options, but it's not my first choice. On the bright side, their marketing efforts are impressive!
