My husband and I had breakfast at Bay Blue yesterday morning our first outing in ages. We both ordered Eggs Benedict with bacon (salmon was not available). My husband’s was on muffins and mine on Turkish bread, as requested. We also had a weak...latte and a flat white mug, extra hot and no froth. We used to breakfast here regularly and the staff still remembered how we like our coffee. The cafe was COVID safe, antiseptic at the door and telephone number and name noted. Tables were spaced. Our meals, as always, were delicious and generous. Staff here are always friendly and always helpful. We will return for sure.
After our experience at McDonalds we went to Orient St and found the Blue Bay Cafe open , so in we went . We were greeted with a friendly smile and asked to be seated and were given Menu cards . We both ordered the...Big Breakfast and Coffee . Our Coffees arrived shortly followed by the Big Breakfast . It certainly was Big , and delicious . It was a bit more than we expected so we did leave a little of the meal . No reflection on the Food which was excellent . The service was very friendly and efficient . Will be back .
It was cold on Friday so I went searching for a serve of hearty soup to warm me up. First and only stop was Bay Blue Cafe in Orient Street. I ordered a takeaway soup and turkish bread from the very nice lady and was...not disappointed. It was one of the best soups I have ever eaten. Well done Bay Blue and thank you. Great cafe, awesome food and good old fashioned service. Working nearby will mean I'll be back!
The homemade food at this restaurant is really nice. You can't go wrong with their egg and bacon rolls. The curried egg and lettuce sandwiches are delicious, as are the steak sandwiches. They also make a great coffee.

This restaurant serves the best Egg and Bacon Rolls in the Bay. They also offer a "donate a coffee" program where you can pay for a coffee for someone else. The staff are lovely and provide excellent service.
The food is always fresh and the staff are amazing, they have such a selection of amazing salads, pies, steak sandwiches, burgers and all day bacon and egg rolls and they are not over priced.
My husband and I stopped here for breakfast, he had eggs Benedict and I had bacon and eggs with a side of tomatoes the food was delicious. It was fast and friendly service. Covid safe place.
Overnight stay and decided on breakfast here. Coffee was FANTASTIC breakfast was hot and quick. I was the only one in at so was peaceful also.
