This is a lovely cool spot with great ambience for a drink or cocktail but the food needs a little work to get the wow factor. I think the chef has real passion to create interesting toppings but he just needs to get the right balance for the pizzas for example for ours I think he was too heavy handed with the tomato base which overpowered all the other toppings. I could be wrong but this seems like a more touristy place to eat rather than where locals would dine.
Went there for a nice lunch. St Antonin is very quiet this time of year so it was great to find this welcoming restaurant nestled between the buildings. We enjoyed the 14€ starter and mains. Choice of wholesome soup or goats cheese salad followed by a choice of three main courses. And of course there are always there pizzas. I watched a very impressive calzone pass by our table. Everyone was enjoying themselves. Very tasty and enjoyable lunch.
Dropped in here on Friday evening without having made a reservation but the found a table for two. We both had chicken skewers which were succulent and tasty and were served with salad and delicious chips. We followed that with cheesecake with strawberry ice cream and a coffee with 4 mini desserts all delicious and beautifully presented. With wine it all cost 61 euros really good value and the staff were friendly and helpful
Excellet experience in this charming town. Beffroi Tentations is such a highlight of the trip: friendly, English-speaking, nice ambience located at the heart of the old town; food is great value (not what you typically get in tourist attractions); we had steak which is top quality and well cooked. Saw the next table getting pizzas, looked amazing and authentic. Looking forward to go back!
