The meals are always super fresh, plentiful, delicious and good value for money. Service is usually fast and friendly! But last night, my only criticism was even though we arrived early for our reservation, the line usually reserved for patrons who have a booking, was manned by a staff member doing everything else other than getting people to their reserved tables. We were third in line, and had to wait near 10 minutes to be seated, while the other line of people who didn't have table bookings, seemed to be easily seated a lot quicker. To be fair, I think the couple at the head of our que thought they had a booking, but didn't have a booking?
When we booked we asked to be seated away from the large groups in that night. When we arrived for dinner our table was directly beside the large groups. I do not know what part of away from the large groups they did not understand. So disappointed.
a group of 8 booked and table ready and waiting. the service was great. a hiccup with the menu price and the actual price was sorted by a very worthwhile manager. eating esp the meaty meals were excellent, tasty and great worth. highly recommended
order 3 meals...only receive 2. attendant read order 3 times, but still finished with only 2 meal times. not happy because we could not eat together and at the end wasted time to wait in the line to reorder and pay. crazy our common dinning Book a table now
amazing view of the river. eating was great (standard pub food, but delicious and great food.) a bit of “cafeteria” vibe without table service, but we would go back
We all had the Roast we all agree that the meal was very tasty good value however the vegetables were cold so not as enjoyable. Can this be improved???
Good food, nice location especially if you have riverside seating, a little noisy when busy, as it is at lunchtime on weekends. Would recommend.
