at a late arrival in chamonix, we didn't want much effort to eat a place. that we would have. brasserie de l’m is on a wonderful place in the inner city of chamonix, but that's it. it's as bad as a...tourist fall can be. if they are a teacher in the restaurant tourism industry, then this is as good as an example as they find how to build a fall. or an example of how they should not. location good, inside beautiful, terrace beautiful, especially in summer. quality food, terrible! service, poor, you really feel that they just want to pull as much money as possible out of your wallet. and of course, strong, strong, strongly overpriced. please don't go here, find another place if you want to hav...
I was in Chamonix with my partner last Saturday the coming from Rome which was at that time not in the “red zone” in terms of Coronavirus outbreak. We asked for a table at pm. Waiter answered, in a rude way that...“kitchen was closed”. I may also understand restaurants owners fear epidemic cases, but found the answer offensive and ridiculous: borders Italy France was and are still open, Italian people were really a few in town. over, there already were lots of Coronavirus cases in several French towns and the first spreader has been proven to be a German man. My family and I ate here... my husband had The crayfish soup and the rest of us had fondue and French onion soup... we didn’t get sick but my husband had vomited and had has been unable to leave the toilet.... in short he is...so sick, and can only go from the bathroom to the bed with serious food poisoning.... We should of known.. all other restaurants were full and booked but there were many tables free here... the smell was bad... like of cheese... AVOID THIS PLACE... I AM REVIEWING SO YOU DON’T GET SICK AND RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY LIKE IT RUINED MY HUSBANDS CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!
I liked the decor as I do love wall to wall pine. We both had roasted chicken in a mushroom sauce. Serving was plentiful but would have a liked a more creamy sauce, It was a bit thin watery. However it was OK and...the service was fine also.

the personal is super nice and very helpful, but the quality of eating is simply not it. very high price for high quality food. I have to admit, although the proportions are good. I'll never go back.
super nice people a big boss, huh seb and cammonix prices but very good bah it is especially when they open their little pub bar in the evening it's cool they are very competent
glued in my affection for the best restaurant in the world with le monchu on the other side of the square. fondue for one and great puddings
visited for lunch at three locations during the peak season. service was fast and friendly, eating was excellent. very good value for money
