We wanted to love it. Went in randomly for a slice and the options were impressive. Got a Margherita since that's typically a good way to test a pizzerias metal. It was pretty good. Good sauce, thin, crisp crust, fresh cheese basil. I decided we should try more from the menu. So we ordered delivery, salad, a small Margherita pie, zucchini sticks and 2 pasta dishes. The pizza was NOT anything like the slice I had eaten previously. The pie was doughy and undercooked....though the sauce was still good. Pasta was overcooked in both dishes. I visited this restaurant for a special karaoke night on Sunday, and it was a fantastic experience. The waitstaff were delightful and very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. The amateur karaoke performers were impressive; I was especially taken by the large man who sang Elvis tunes from Atlantic City, as well as the guy who belted out Billy Idol's "Jimmy's Son," and the gentleman in black who entertained us with classics from the 50s and 60s. I truly didn't want the evening to end. I’m definitely planning to return for more food, drinks, singing, and laughter. They used to be, years ago, one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. I have tried them multiple times in the past year and the food quality has hit the all time low. Very high prices for the quality of food. Not friendly or helpful to the disabled. I know because I’m disabled. 4 people at the counter and they stand there and watch you struggle to carry the food and open the door to get out. Amazing! I will now drive the extra 1/2 mile to Umberto's pizza. Too bad, they at one time were great .
Terrible new owners. My family and I made reservations just to be TOLD that we "LIED ABOUT EVEN CALLING IN THE FIRST PLACE. VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!! My family has been coming here for over a life time and now these pieces of garbage running the restaurant into the ground. Smh sad.
Horrible experience. Service was horrible, food was horrible, owner was rude and disrespectful! Mike the owner is very unprofessional and should not be in the hospitality business. He is vulgar and rude. I was forced to give 1 star but should be a 0.
