Came here based on the recommendations about the laksa and quite enjoyed it. A little on the sweeter side (at least to our taste) but had a nice subtle heat to it. Portion sizes are generous with lots of meat and very fairly priced. Others have said the seafood laksa is mostly crab stick so might want to avoid that one, but the chicken one is quite good and very satisfying on a cold night. The noodle dishes are cooked in too much oil but otherwise have a good flavour. Service is pretty good and the food arrives quickly. Not sure if we would leap at the chance to come here again but we'll definitely keep it as a good option to fall back on when we're in the area.

Was very excited to try this place however do think it may be slightly overrated. I will be back and would recommend the stirfrys (hokkien vegetable). Good flavour, fresh tofu and veg, good portion, fast service and very very cheap. I risked the tempura prawns as an entree even though getting takeaway and they were very soggy and the prawn itself was over cooked. The menu was very extensive and am keen to try this again (eating in). Service was satisfactory.Second visit: better experience dining in, the food is still very casual, very fast and very cheap. Good flavour and very generous size.

Came here on a busy Friday night and was lucky enough to score the last table. I heard that their laksa were the go to so I ordered one of those as well as a duck char kway teow and vegetables. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were alright. It's quiet a small restaurant so tables are closely packed in and it's awkward when takeaway people come in waiting for their food and watch you eat. Service was pretty standard but very fast past and almost a bit frantic, like they are trying to clear you off the table asap.

the chicken pad thai here is really great! give it a try if u come here. but the way they describing chinese people is really rude for me. im just a homestay student, i went here with my host family. my host mom got a bad experience, there was a raw chicken piece in her dish. and when aaron complained to the waitress, the waitress started to judge chinese people with the rude way and i don't like the way she talk. the thai laksa is quite good too, im liking this place bcs its food. maybe u guys should give it a try! This place is reknown for its laksa, in my opinion, the best in Canberra. Rich and flavoursome, plenty of delicious fillings. If it was a little spicier I'd rate it a 5.We had the combination laksa with duck, roast pork, chicken, vege and tofu. You can order a half serve when dining in, if you prefer a smaller serve.Note they don't accept credit cards, only cash or eftpos over $30.

Came for dinner today and enjoyed very fast service, both FOH and BOH staff worked extremely efficiently, servers were attentive and quick, got meals in under 10 minutes after ordering, which is very impressive given it was a busy Friday night. I had the Pad Thai which was very nice and was the perfect portion size. Will definitely be back again!

I found the Singapore noodles to be a bit too moist for my taste, but they had a generous amount of vegetables. The dish cost $15, and I added extra eggs for an additional $2, bringing the total to $17. Book a table now

This is definitely the best laksa in Australia. Since relocating to Sydney, I have not been able to find another laksa that compares. Whenever I am in Canberra, this is the only thing I crave.
