Food is always ok but sometimes it's really good. Unfortunately today it was just ok. Liver dumpling soup could have been hotter and should have had more broth. Wiener schnitzel was too thick and somewhat tough. Portions were generous. Heat was erratic but mainly cold.
absolutely 100% perfect in every sight. not complaining. absolutely no recommendations for improvement at all. this place is perfect. everything is perfect. they are wonderful and perfect. I can't think of a single possibility to make it better. it's perfect.
Excellent beer menu with lots of good German and Austrian choices. Food is excellent Bavarian fair. Service is excellent including Donny wandering the post dinner patrons offering a shot of Schnaps to finish the meal.
one of the few German restaurants in chicago. the food was very disappointing from the bread basket for which they calculated extra, to the carving and spetzel, which were both moderate. will not return. Book a table now
Great restaurant. Food was delicious and the staff was outstanding. The interior was beautiful, full of German decor. Don’t skip desert, my son recommends the root beer float.
