An epic breakfast experience. My fiancé and I are currently staying in Hobart and upon recommendation from our Uber driver a few days ago, decided to walk up to Sandy Bay from Salamanca and choose a breakfast spot. We ordered coffees first up and it was hands down one of the best coffees of my life (which beans are you using?! . The service was fantastic and the breakfast (potato croquettes with avo and pico de gallo was honestly fantastic. I added crispy bacon and chilli jam and created one of the best brekkies I’ve ever enjoyed! Worth the 30 minute walk each way. Thanks heaps guys. Brownie points for cooking the bacon exactly how I like it too never happens!
I visited this cafe for breakfast and ordered a soy latte along with eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict had a unique flavor, almost like they used donut oil, which was a bit different from the traditional version. While I found it enjoyable, I still prefer the classic recipe. My friend, on the other hand, loved the green smoothie and her meal. Overall, it’s a nice cafe with quick service and friendly staff.
Good ambience. Nice and cosy space with great food. Portion size is good too. Fast service. The chilli jam was sweet rather than spicy. The portion size of salad leaves was a bit lesser than expected. Overall, a good space for a quick bite or for a catch up.
Tucked away in the heart of Sandy Bay with great food and excellent coffee. You may even get some latte art . With spacious outdoor seating bring some warmer clothes on cold days.
