The bagels were pretty good but the prices were a little high. That was fine because I thought the staff was good. That is until they fixed the place up and created more room for customers. I called ahead to place my order and was informed it would be ready in 15 minutes. I understand it was Saturday morning, so I arrived right on time, only to be told they were "working on it." No worries at first. After waiting another 20 minutes, I finally saw someone beginning to gather the supplies for my order, which meant it had been 35 minutes just to start making it. I understand that it can get busy and that the staff might be limited, but there's no need to mislead customers. Just provide an honest estimate or let us know if you can't accommodate the order. This experience was completely unreasonable.
This restaurant puts a lot of care into its cooking, unlike some places that cut corners. Their boneless spare ribs are broiled to perfection, achieving just the right char and sauce balance. In contrast, other restaurants often boil the meat and drown it in sauce to mask its age. The sesame chicken is always crispy and has an addictive crunch; I believe they fry it fresh upon ordering instead of pre-frying and just keeping it warm in an oven. The owner dedicates long hours with no days off, preparing dishes fresh every day. They have truly mastered the art of American Chinese cuisine.
Wow ... $1.25 for a plain bagel now ! I ordered a 1/2 dozen and the price was $7.50 ! In the past, they would even give you a free bagel when you bought 1/2 dozen but that has stopped too. Talk about Greed-Flation ! Its ashame ... very nice staff and decent bagels.

Ordered a BEC SPK on a roll, took 3 minutes to explain what SPK was. Also ordered a grilled cheese with bacon. I received a BEC with hot sauce and a grilled cheese with no bacon. You do what you want with this intel.
This is the best bagel place! The service and food are outstanding. It's quite busy on weekends, but the staff still make an effort to provide excellent attention and a positive attitude to all customers.
On the positive side, the staff behind the counter are friendly, and the place is always busy and seems relatively clean. The sandwich combinations they offer do sound quite appealing.
Great bagel store with homemade cream cheeses and spreads. Really good sandwiches and wraps plus they also have options of burritos and salads.
