This is one of my very favourite local cafes situated in within Belconnen Markets. The dishes are colourful and fresh with my favourites being beef and vegetable soup and combination chow mien. Their laksa is great too. I always look forward to a hearty meal here after a long run on the weekend. Don’t think I have ever been disappointed. Or first time here for lunch and it was a very enjoyable experience. One of the few places in Canberra that has that traditional HK cafe feel and a milk tea that matches. Service was quick and came with a smile. The only drawbacks are related to temperature. Coming here in winter, it's actually quite cold inside so make sure you've got your jackets with you. Also, the bed of rice in my dish had patches that were cold but apart from that, it tasted great.

I love the duck, rice and vegetables dish here as they specialise in duck. You can also purchase duck on its own and take it away to eat at home with your own food. The dimsum set had a char siu bao and a number of dumplings which were large and get value for money. Handy location as you can eat while shopping at the markets. Yours truly @fooderarri

A bit of a hidden gem. Fantastic beef brisket noodles and roasted pork belly will make you think you're on holidays in Hong Kong before you remember you're deep in the heart of Belco. The owners are great and the atmosphere is fitting both pretty fun and casual. It's the type of place you hope never changes. Keep up the great work. Book a table now
