As a formal dining store in this water park on a very popular weekend (Saturday in mid-July), Johnny rockets should have some temporary ways to increase their sale efficiency. One of the worst dining experiences I 've had. The lines were enormous and I spent over one hour waiting in 90 degree weather. The food portions were ridiculously small (you could literally count the number of fries on the plate) and we ended up spending over $75 in mediocre fast food. (The crew leader, Ashley, was rude and severely lacking in any customer service skills and invited me to take up my complaints with the corporate office. I did but they never returned my call). Eat before you get to Splish Splash.
I have allergies and the cashier was nice to ask for accommodations but the kitchen would not allow any changes. Their other branches have always been attentive and helpful, but I was forced to just have fries for lunch, which tasted undercooked, too ripe, and like a salt lick. I would sooner eat grass than return to this establishment. What a tarnished depiction of the Johnny Rockets name.

I had a great experience at Johnny Rockets. Although there were long lines and the temperature was a bit uncomfortable, the cashiers managed to serve everyone quickly and efficiently. The menu offered decent options that matched what I expected for a water park setting. The staff was very attentive and did an excellent job handling my large order for 11 people.
We usually love Johnny Rockets, so we were happy when we went to Splish Splash in Riverhead and decided to eat on one in their water park. We were very disappointed. The food was too expensive and greasy and there were very few options and nothing really for young children. We should have gone to court. Much better options and prices.
Don’t be deceived. The Boardwalk location has shorter lines and serves the exact same food. It all comes down to the name. The same group of college students prepare the meals at every restaurant in the park. While the service is good, don’t expect the authentic Johnny Rockets experience here.

The chicken tenders were quite tasty, but the fries were overly salty. The Sierra Mist had a flavor more like seltzer water. Additionally, the wait for the food was quite lengthy.
This was definitely not fast food. Our family of four waited nearly an hour. I recommend heading to the other side of the park near the Lazy River for many more options.
