Not really sure how this place has a 4 star rating.I ordered one of their popular chicken curry and my friend ordered paneer curry. Both came with rice and naan.1. The paneer curry was good! But chicken was under-average. Very bland and nothing like a 4 stared restaurant.2. Naan was store bought. They're just microwaving those sad pieces of bread and throwing on a plate for us. Very sad, they can't make their naan.3. The bread plate, (plate in which the naan came in) was reused. I mean, they did NOT even wash it. There were curry marks from the old customer they served. When asked about it, they replaced it without any explanation.$60 for 2 people for garbage food. I will not return. I do no...

Interesting experience at this restaurant. Service was amazing but I noticed the management wasn’t so kind towards them, that coupled with hearing from a friend the servers don’t get their tips left a bad taste in my mouth.Don’t order anything on the menu that isn’t South Indian because you’re bound to be disappointed. We ordered Biryani and dosas, the biryani wasn’t great (more like a dry goat curry with rice). The dosas were good but the chutney on one looked very dried up and the sambar on one was thick like a thanksgiving gravy, it was really weird. It’s ok in a pinch but not my first choice
This cozy restaurant is located on Fraser just above 49th Ave. The restaurant is spotlessly clean with their own logo-inspired art works on the wall.I had the goat (boneless) vindaloo and it was unbelievably good! I will be dreaming of this meal for months. I had a nice hot chai tea and a vanilla ice cream topped dessert. The server was very polite, almost shy. She seemed to float from table to table almost imperceptibly. The food was very affordable and I cannot wait to get back.Don't miss going to this restaurant when you are in town. You will not be disappointed.
This is a small restaurant that is popular with the local. It is always a good sign to see many Indian dining there. We ordered a dosa plate with buttered chicken and chicken vindaloo to share amongst 4 people. We weren't too hungry but thought we should eat something for dinner. These two dishes were perfect portion for us.Both dishes were excellent. I especially like the dosa plate. It is always impressive to see the dosa roll bigger than the plate. I will go back again when I visit next time. Book a table now
I ordered a masala dosa and chicken biriyani.. it taste awful and the service was really unacceptable..The food they provide and the name of the restaurant doesnt match.. its not a real south indian restaurant. The plates and spoons even the cup and saucer was not clean..The tables are not tidy..The food runner/ server was not appropriate for the job.. i will never recommend this restaurant to anybody..
I ordered the Madras spice chilli chicken. I have no idea what’s so special about this dish, it was so bad. Couldn’t even tell if it was real chicken, it was just like some tasteless chicken nugget in a weird gooey sauce. Didn’t taste any seasonings just tasted like hot sauce. Pretty sad for $17.
Best Indian food I have had in many many years. Butter chicken masala was truly amazing and our kids loved the chicken noodles. Service was great too! I'm planning to come back as often as I can.
I tried the non-veg thali. The food was excellent and at a very decent price. I loved that it was served with a dosa. A great and satisfying meal for less than twenty bucks. Book a table now
The food was exceptional. The non-veg thali was excellent. The dosa had a distinct south Indian feel to it. All in all, a perfect experience!! Definitely recommend it!!
