Kosher restaurants are expensive. That's a given. The prices are comparable to restaurants elsewhere in Canada, but the portion sizes were smaller. I ordered fish and chips, and received two small portions of battered cod. It was tasty, but I didn't feel I got my money's worth. Another person at the table felt the actual dish didn't live up to the description on the menu.I don't want to comment too much on food quality because I only ate the one dish. Friends in Vancouver tell me the food is good. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant was full, and the wait staff courteous. If you need kosher food in Vancouver and don't mind paying for the cost, go by all means. Just make sure you ask a lot...
Was a treat to find a decent kosher restaurant. I read some of the previous reviews and I cant relate to any of them. Coming from NY, I found Maple Grill to actually be a bit cheaper then NY prices, which is a shocker being that , Hey I'm in the middle of Vancouver were there aren't that many kosher places.The portions were regular sizes, and the great friendly staff made one of the best kosher cocktails I have ever had.I didn't order any typicall food such as steak, as that Im sure NYC has better (much larger fresh meat selection) I always tend to keep in mind that when you "out of town" wo order that way. We hired Maple Grill to be the main caterers for our son's recent Bar Mitzvah and they were outstanding! We had them cater a Thursday breakfast for our son's entire grade, a Friday night dinner for 60 family and out of towners, a kiddish lunch for 150 and a Saturday party for 120 which included stations with sliders, wings, salads and an amazing dessert buffet (including chocolate fountain). The food at every meal was delicious and generous, and Laura and Shimi went out of their way to accommodate us.
Had a reservation , was on time but big confusion to find table in restaurant that was not full. The table cloth on our table had obviously been used by many diners before us (yuck ) Food was at best very average service not good. Our bill was dropped on our table with out any discussion of coffee or dessert. Why Christmas music in a Kosher restaurant ???Have been at The Maple Grill several times & enjoyed it , but not again.

It was an organized business dinner but we all ordered from the menu. The offerings were interesting, the presentation and tastes were sublime. The service was excellent and our business meeting flowed effortlessly, well lubricated by satisfied diners. "So that was a Kosher meal"; " the only difference is for those who care. You can do most anything within the boundaries. There is no limitation on excellence"; I replied.
We just spent Shabbos in Vancouver and ordered food for Friday night and Saturday lunch from Maple Grill. All the food was amazing! Some of the best salmon ever! Great schnitzel, potato salad, taco salad, and fresh green beans. The challah rolls were terrific and the deserts were truly outstanding. All in all some of the best Shabbos food we have ever had on the road. And they delivered to our hotel for a nominal fee.
We had a stop over in Vancouver and wanted a nice meal before heading back on another flight. The restaurant was extremely accommodating opening early on a Sunday for us.The spring roll appetizer, pea soup, black hat salad were outstanding. The beef chipotle burger and smoked chicken sandwiches were superb.Nice ambiance and good food all for a reasonable price, what more can you ask for.We can't wait to come back.
I brought my decidedly non-kosher work associates and we had a delightful dinner. There was something for everyone. My Chinese colleague loved the brisket. Even my vegan friend had delicious food. So nice to go to another city and find a friendly and delicious kosher restaurant!

We love to come here whenever we visit Vancouver. The food is delicious, the servers are great and the ambiance is lovely as well.
Great Kosher food.. Nice place, parking in the rear of the store. Can be very busy in July and August.
