Edit- McAlister’s corporate made things right. Returned and had a much better experience. Food was hot and tasty, tables were cleaner, and staff was pleasant. Bathrooms still dirty however. Very much enjoyed my second experience. Went 12/11. I usually like Mcalisters at other locations. Bathrooms were unclean, paper towels out. No hand sanitizer. Food was cold, didn’t give our chocolate milk for kids or potato salad. I had to wipe off my own table because every single one was dirty. Male employee did not seem to care and seemed disinterested to get my missing order. Food was cold. Very poor experience given the price.
This was our first restaurant stop in Waco and we really enjoyed the food! Our server was fantastic in helping us choose what to order. The interior of the location seemed a little outdated, which is why I am giving it a 4-star rating instead of a 5. However, the Pepperjack Turkey sandwiches we ordered were absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese and broccoli were also very tasty, we just added some pepper to the mac and cheese. We will definitely be visiting again when we travel to Waco, and would recommend this location to others as well!
My daughter and I went out for lunch and spent $30. We both ordered the same sandwich, the Club. Mine was cut into quarters as it usually is, but my daughter's was cut in half and looked completely different from mine. I also ordered extra bacon for $2, but when our meals arrived, I only received a plate with three very thin slices of bacon. I don't usually complain about my food unless it's really bad, as I don’t dine out often, but after this experience, I think I'll just make my sandwiches at home from now on.
Incredible lunch experience! The food (Angus Club sandwich, tomato and cucumber salad, chips, and tea) was excellent, and the staff even split the meal for two of us to share. However, I felt sorry for them as there was only one person working. It seemed like he was both checking us out and preparing our food. It was disappointing to see almost every table dirty, and it was clear that the poor worker was overwhelmed. The restaurant really needs to improve its staffing situation.

The service and food were both great. I enjoyed my meal so much that I ate it too quickly to take a picture! I really love the sweet tea here; it's the only place I drink it from. My husband ordered a baked potato, and it was massive and delicious. We'll definitely return to this location again.

We went on a Thursday at lunch after visiting the silos. The restaurant was very dirty inside and out. The bathrooms were terrible. The food was nasty.. This is the worst McAllister I've ever visited.
Just ate a turkey sandwich, loved it, nice place and lovely customer service. The cashier is very lovely, great place to eat at and enjoy your day.

Good place but no one was at the register for a while. Had to wait aimlessly for a bit before I was helped. Besides that, everything else was fine.
The 12 inch Memphian is the best! Found my new go to sandwich. Mac n cheese was surprisingly good even tho it wasn't much to look at.
