My boyfriend and I visited Mi Casita for dinner one summer evening. We were seated quickly and received complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered a chori-queso taco, some enchiladas, and a shrimp quesadilla. Thankfully, the chips and salsa helped pass the time because the service slowed down significantly after that. It took a long time for our order to be taken, for our food to arrive, for our water to be refilled, and even for us to get the check when we were done. The service at this restaurant was friendly, and the food was quite good. The only downside is that there are only about three staff members working, so there can be a bit of a wait to place your order. The prices are reasonable, and the tasty food makes it worth the wait. I enjoyed a shredded chicken chimichanga that was absolutely delicious, and the chori queso appetizer is something you definitely shouldn’t miss. The salsa and guacamole were also delightful!
We dined there for the first time last night and will definitely return. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was intriguing, featuring all the classics along with some unique options. We particularly enjoyed the taco salad, and the house margarita was excellent. The nachos with carnitas were also a hit. The prices were reasonable too.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in town! You need to try the avocadorita from the drinks menu. In food, I would recommend enchiladas, shrimp and beef fajita Nachos. The chips and salsa are always fresh and tasty. You have a full bar and it is a great place to watch a game. I always have a good time when we go to Mi Casita!

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. They are pet-friendly and allow dogs on the patio, which is a big plus. The service is excellent, and we plan to make this one of our regular spots when we're in the Carbondale area. We also want to apologize for our dog being a bit grumpy during our visit.
We waited five minutes for anyone to even greet us after walking in the door with a reservation. Chips and salsa tasted store bought. Margarita was average. Food was bland and not even close to warm. It was not very busy at the time, and only 2 servers for the entire place. Never going back
Worst COVID take out experience ever. Called in our order for a 5:40pm pickup. Their system is complete chaos. Waited in lines for 30 minutes only to have them tell me that my order need an additional 20 minutes. I would NOT order take out from this restaurant during this time.
Absolutely amazing! This place is fantastic! I dined here with friends two weeks ago, and the experience was incredible. The food was delicious, the customer service was excellent—it's the complete package! Definitely check it out; you won't be disappointed!
