The food is fine but the service is ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! The diner is seriously understaffed in terms of cooks and waiters. My friend and I went to this place and order just two dishes. After we were done with the first one, we waited for more than 40mins and when I checked with the front desk waiter, I was told that the other dish HAD NOT BEEN PREPARED and he asked us if we wanted to change to another dish. Been there a few times and the menu has changed a couple of months ago. They used to have a boiled fish in chilli pepper dish which is similar to that served at Red Chilli Sichuan. That used to be my go to dish there.
Now they've removed the fish soup dishes but have finally added peking duck to their menu.
The dishes I've enjoyed in my recent visits there were sauté mutton slice with cumin, Sweet and Sour Duck with Pineapple, Traditional Beijing - flavor Roasted Lamb (with thin pancakes) and Traditional Peking - flavor Roasted Beef (with thin pancakes)(beef version of the previous dish).

Peking restaurant has improved - looks like there has been a refresh in the management or something (judging from the new pictures outside and better tasting food). Initially I was quite skeptical when my friends decided to order the peking style beef with pancake because it wasn't very appetizing when we had it quite a while ago. To my surprise the dish turned out to be very flavorful. The next dish that was equally enjoyable was the boneless crispy duck in special sauce (don't remember the exact name). Horrible customer service, waitresses are extremely impatient and aggressive! Last week, I went there, the waitress saw me walk in pretended not having seen me and made me waiting for 5 mins. When it comes to explaining the dishes, she was very impatient and hostile too. I will never go there again!

Decent authenticity and taste , I can't tell it's 100% authentic Beijing food , but at least 80% I think. Most of the food are well prepared and well ****. Surprisingly, the noodles here are amazing, even better than some noodle soup restaurant at Burwood.
We had Peking duck, (Very Good!), San choi bao Duck rice and noodle (very Good!) Chinese sweets (average), Roast Lamb (average, just animal fat on bones) & Deep Fried Duck Bones (average). Overall pretty good the first two dishes and very good value
Absolutely appalled with this place. Understaffed. They don't acknowledged your existence and do not even give me the menu. Not sure if discrimination but they only talked and served their own chinese nationality. Not impressed.
Decent duck banquet with great value as bought on groupon. The san choy bao has good flavours but the other dishes are mediocre. The portion is pretty big so good for everyday eat but not for a special occasion

Rude customer service!!! The lady who makes pan cake at the front was particularly rude...also the restaurant wasn't exactly clean at all...I went to the bathroom at the back and it was shocking...
Menu has improved, and so has the service levels. Better experience than a year ago.
Appear to be much younger owners with a fresher attitude. Thumbs up
