I am from Carbondale, live in rifle now, but I have been coming to Peppino’s Pizza since about the time they opened in 1983.We, my friends and I, would walk down from the old middle school and get pizza ? almost everyday.I ordered two slices of cheese pizza today, and bought a shirt! I sat at a a table waiting and waiting. Finally, I went to counter to ask where my pizza was, the order wasn’t put in.“No worries,” I said. (I had never had a complaint before, why put one in now).They were very apologetic about it and out In immediately. I even got a brownie for a bound.Way to Peppino’s staff for being like the staff I have always known. Kudos! ????????
Was excited to try this pizza by the slice. I had the sausage with vodka sauce one piece at $4.50 a little more that I expected for the size but it was good. Service was great and fast but I wish they had heated it more as it wasn't very warm. I really liked the crust and the sauce and wish for a bit more cheese. Overall I was pretty happy with it. Ps I love that they compost and use eco friendly products! This really gets my support! I will be back for more! I asked for a well done crispy pizza. I asked for this more than once during my phone conversation. I got home to a soupy mess. Completely inedible. The pizza was literally raw. Will not be back.

Kurt is the man, and the staff can not be beaten. Food service is and has always been top-notch! Best pizza place in western Colorado FOR SURE!
