Still one of our favorite places to go for a wonderful French experience. We often dine with a friend who is 90 with hearing aids and a gluten allergy. it can be challenging sometimes to find a relatively quiet place that has gluten free offerings. Pescadou is a godsend for this but also, we all enjoy it as well. The food is always consistently delicious and the service is consistently friendly. I simply love this place. Cozy and quaint and SO accommodating to do many tastes. Our time, as always, was perfect!
We visited this restaurant for dinner for the second time, and it was just as fantastic as our first visit in February 2023. We love the food, service, and ambiance, as they never fail to impress. We plan on dining here more often in the future. Some of the dishes we enjoyed included frog legs, escargots, steamed mussels (Poulette), venison, ribeye with red wine sauce, lamb chops, chocolate mousse, floating island (meringue), and apple tart Tatin.
We may have found the French restaurant we've been looking for since we moved here from New York. Excellent preparation, great tastes, reasonable prices. The only negative in my mind is related to ambience, that being that our table was at the front window and the noise from Newport Blvd traffic was occasionally disconcerting can't imagine how it would be sitting outside on the patio in front.
This wonderful bistro had a great atmosphere and friendly customers. The food was outstanding, truly French in every way. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will absolutely be coming back.

Always a pleasure, and never disappointed. Classic French bistro, reminiscent of the small Bouchons in the central and southwest villages of France. Staff as always was welcoming and helpful. Love the French-centric wine list as well.
Pescadou is closed so this review doesn’t matter. Everyone who worked there was amazing, food was incredible. HOWEVER, it’s obvious that the owners were cheap as hell. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Pescadou Bistro is one of my favorite places to dine and enjoy the ambience and food so much! It is always delicious and enjoy their specials and menu is very well prepared and service is amazing!
This restaurant has absolutely delicious food. There’s no bad dish. Very cute and quaint. My husband and I love this place!
