We had yet another disappointing experience at P.F. Chang's. We were hoping that a change of location would revive the flavors we used to enjoy, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The pork egg rolls lacked any flavor, and the Chang's Spicy Chicken was so drenched in sauce that the taste of the chicken was completely lost. We thought we had previously enjoyed the Dynamite Shrimp, but what we had this time was unrecognizable. The tempura batter was so thick that it was difficult to find the shrimp, and the sauce overwhelmed everything else. After several unsatisfactory meals at both Mission Viejo and The Spectrum, and now at Newport Beach, we can confidently say we won't be returning any...
We often dine at PF Chang's in various states, and we had a lovely experience at the Fashion Island location in Newport Beach, which is one of the most beautiful settings. Our server was very attentive, and the food was fantastic. I particularly loved the Pad Thai; it hasn't always been cooked well at other locations (with runny eggs and undercooked noodles), but it was perfect here.
Food including 3 different rices was cold.. disappointing. Also beef very tough and loaded with gristle . I could not eat it. Although orange chicken was cold it had a great flavor. I would of sent it back but I was a guest and didn’t want to complain.
I often dine at PF Changs in Newport Beach because I truly appreciate the fresh food and excellent service. I've been especially impressed with the servers I've encountered lately.
