I had the pleasure of having dinner at Rasa Sayang tonight and I could not have been happier. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. The menu is an extensive range of Chinese and Malaysian meals and we eventually settled on satays for starters, rock salt prawns, Babi Serea with some steamed rice and a couple of glasses of wine. Everything was delicious! Rasa Sayang is a credit to Canberra and I will be back for sure. Highly recommended - 5 Stars.
Our first order, sweet corn and chicken soup had to be brought back to the kitchen as it was too salty. Our mains; Cha Kuay Tiow and Chao Ho Fun, were also too salty that its masked the actual taste of the dish. The only dish "passable" was the chicken satay; would give it an average. At this point, we've lost all confidence to even order their deserts. Would be our first and last visit.
Went to Rasa Sayang for dinner on a week night. The restaurant was busy, but the service was attentive. I tried the char kway teo, which was good, but it lacked the smoky flavor I was after. I also tried the Singapore prawns, which was sweet and spicy, with the right amount of tang. The portions are quite generous. Overall, an enjoyable meal.
Love the food. Ordered a selection of dishes and enjoyed them all. Best Chilli Beef in town! Lamb curry, shantung chicken and roast duck were all delicious. Keep coming back to this place because it is consistently delicious. Extensive menu, fast service and very reasonable prices. Tony and family are very welcoming. Book a table now
Having grown up in Malaysia I'm always looking for tastes from my childhood. I had the curry Ayam selangor with a side of roti and it was delicious. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Great all round experience.
Best Malaysia and Chinese meal in ACT !! High quality service and nice environment. Survive from the cold winter in that place. Recommend beef and curry, Chinese tea.
Would like to come back and try some more of the Malaysian cuisines. Service is good. Tried kungpo chicken and tofu on another visit. Was good. Value for money. 3.5*
Had takeaway here last night, and throughly enjoyed it. Sweet and sour sliced pork was a winner, and also really enjoyed the coconut rice and veggie deluxe. Book a table now
