Don’t overlook hidden gem pizzerias like Sansone Brothers. Though it’s a modest spot in a strip mall, their pizza is outstanding. The grandma slice stood out with its rich, chunky sauce, perfectly crisped crust, and delicious cheese. Fresh basil brought all the flavors together for a fantastic bite. The peppers and onions slice also impressed with fresh ingredients, great cheese, and sauce, all on a nicely crispy base and crust. I’m definitely a fan of this place. @BoroPizzaHunter on Instagram
We've been living here for about five years and have tried nearly every Italian restaurant around. Since discovering the Sansone Brothers, we won't order from anywhere else—even though we live right down the street from downtown New Brunswick. Everything they make is delicious, from their pizza and chicken parmesan to their linguini in white mussel sauce, which is incredible! Their garlic knots might just be the best in Central New Jersey!
Avoid this place! I spent over $50 and regretted it for my health. They just threw a can of tomato on the pizza without adding any flavor (what a waste!). I love supporting local businesses, but this one is a disaster. How hard can it be to make a decent pizza? The wings were terrible too; my dog even refused to eat them after I wiped off the sauce. You need to seriously reconsider your recipes. This is just embarrassing!
I've been a loyal customer for quite some time, and although I really love their food, I usually avoid ordering slices. They appear to be from the previous night, as I noticed when I visited shortly after they opened and the slices on display didn't seem freshly made. I highly recommend opting for fresh items instead. The eggplant parmesan sandwiches are absolutely a must-try! Book a table now
I’ve never experienced a pizza that was completely tasteless before. I ordered a large pizza topped with pineapples, but the cheese and tomatoes seemed expired, and the whole thing was so dry. It felt like they forgot to add any seasoning—it truly lacked flavor. I shouldn’t have to go home and fix my pizza. I was incredibly disappointed and won’t be returning. It was awful.
Sansone Brothers Pizzeria is the oldest pizza spot in my area, and I've been enjoying their food for 35 years. The same chef, the same oven, and consistently great quality. While there are other pizzerias nearby, none compare in terms of attention to quality. This is the place to go, and the fact that the owners run it themselves makes all the difference.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! They serve the best baked Ziti pizza I’ve ever tasted! Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I always make sure to dine here. I highly recommend this place—keep up the fantastic work, everyone!
