The food at this restaurant was absolutely superb. We ordered guacamole, Carne Asada tacos (also known as Viper tacos), and shrimp tacos, all of which were outstanding. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by its salsa, and theirs was among the best I've ever tasted. The Cadillac Margaritas were also excellent! Our host, Kendall, went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic evening, always greeting us with a warm smile. I highly recommend requesting Christian as your waiter. He was incredible—knowledgeable about the menu and what dishes were delicious, attentive to our needs for water, and always provided service with a friendly and uplifting demeanor. We will definitely be coming back!
This well-known restaurant serves delicious Mexican cuisine. The Catch of the Day was expertly prepared and full of flavor. The tacos are made with fresh ingredients and seasoned perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the Ribeye sandwich, served on a crispy toasted bun with tender grilled steak and flavorful sauces that complemented each bite. The salsa, guacamole, and Mexican corn were all deliciously prepared and presented. Sol has a lively atmosphere with friendly staff, and the added bonus of a waterfront view!
Located by the water, this restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere! We tried the octopus dish, and it was incredibly flavorful. The tacos were also quite delicious. The only downside was the long wait; it took over an hour for our food to arrive, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Regardless, I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.
Sol Cocina is a wonderful Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed sitting indoors by the fireplace near the bar at sunset. The Fish Tacos and Chicken Quesadilla were outstanding. A thoughtful touch was when our server sliced the roasted sweet corn off the cob right at our table. Overall, great food and atmosphere. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.

The ideal brunch experience! JC, our waiter, was not only funny but also kind and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend the mimosas made with fresh fruit juices, the huevos rancheros (which might be the best I've ever had), and the delicious burrito. I will definitely be returning.
Sol Cocina may not be the most budget-friendly option, but its menu offers excellent food, complemented by a fantastic location and inviting ambience. The margaritas at Sol Cocina are especially impressive.
