As a chef my friends always ask me where are the best places to eat. So tonight i tried sparqling,, NEVER AGAIN!!started off ok, little hard to get service even with 5 floor staff. Garlic cheese pizza to start, slightly under done with doughy centre but still not bad. Sparqling platter, I was hoping it was their signature dish and if it was EPIC FAIL!!! I can't believe i tried to eat it, even my friend was embarrassed for me!!! The meat was so dry, im sure it was double cooked, the chips were cold, the salad was a joke and to top it off i had the waiter ask how the food was and walked off before hearing the issue. Decided to take a walk along Burwood Rd Burwood and find a place for eats and coffee..Came across this place, sat down on a street side table on Burwood Rd. Coffee was just right, pizzas were deliciious. Service was good and not overbearing. Had to move inwards one table at the sun exposure on the street edge table was too hot (2pm sitting). No problem with moving. Price was reasonable. There are a few eateries and coffee shops at this end of Burwood Rd all close together - this one is certainly worth a try..
I'm quite surprised at all the negative reviews. I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is amazing (not to mention the place is always filled with people!) The mushroom gravy sauce is delicious! I usually order the chicken fungi or steak eye fillet with chips and salad. Very generous servings and great atmosphere.
It was a surprise find at first visit, their crunch chicken burger was very good. This time we tried pizzas and pasta, it was wood fired so the flavour was awesome. Pasta could be more generous, but the service staff was good and friendly. Kids menu is good. Salads are fresh.

Went to Sparqling on a saturday night with my girlfriends, was a disappointing experience. The food was mediocre, the manager Harry or something was rude and belittling to their own staff. It set a pretty disappointing atmosphere
I went here on a Friday afternoon for a business lunch. The food was very nice and the service was great. It's a little expensive but overall worth a visit. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly. I don't say that very often.
HUGE menu, you'll be spoilt for choice - risotto, pasta, burgers, pizzas and meat. Service was friendly and quick. A good choice before or after a movie. It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised

We had lunch on a week day and was not crowded. One of a few non Asian restaurants in Burwood. Good menu but food was not that great. Service was ok but not great. Had to wait sometime for the meal.
