We visited Stingrays mid-week and found the meals to be fantastic, generously proportioned and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive and able to accommodate all our requests - the chef and staff went out of their way to make us feel special. We tried a variety of dishes, including a properly cooked steak (served rare as requested, not medium as at other places), chicken schnitzel, seafood and fantastic salads.The venue has a ship theme, including a huge wooden bar shaped into an old fashioned sailing ship. The tables are well spaced without feeling overcrowded. There are high chairs available for very young children and a separated kiddys entertainment room with a variety of game...
Don't be fooled by all those photos, that's what we looked at and was like yep let's go there. But when we got there the place was dead, you could hear the chefs and staff all in the back yelling talking. My partners food the seafood tasted like it was had been sitting in the freezer for years and the deep fryer oil was still dripping off the gross calamari that was served. The chips came out warm and not crispy. And then my salmon was only cooked on top but all inside was cold and uncooked and the skin was not crispy and watery.I told the chef and he was lovely enough to cook me another one. The service was great with friendly and attentive staff. Entree of Salt and Pepper squid was delivered by the chef-nice personal touch. The squid was melt in your mouth and great flavour. Mains were, Fishermans platter and Chilli Thai Calamari. Portions where big-so value for money. Lovely views of the bay and great atmosphere-a must visit if you love seafood and a great feed!
Just bought 2 seafood baskets that's were absolutely disgusting! $70 for frozen fish,calamari and prawns which had doey batter and tasted like the food has been left in the freezer for years. Insanely over priced for the quality of food you get. If you are looking for a nice place to eat with quality food I'd stay well away from Stingrays Ocean Grill.

I went out to stingrays tonight with my family and it was fantastic! The food was delicious the staff were friendly and welcoming and even the chef made a point of coming out to talk to everyone. It was a really nice night!
This is a coast staple and provides piece and quiet for the adults while the kids play in the enclosed play area. The food is consistent and reasonably priced. We will be back again.
Perfect place to go, we had a great time and the food was awesome. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend anyone to give it a go.????
