Roku has become one of my absolute go-to sushi restaurants. The deluxe sushi platter is fantastic and at $50, it’s not crazy for how much you get. My wife and I go and will each get one and maybe an appetizer like the calamari or one of their specialty rolls, which are fantastic. It can get quite packed but usually will have room to walk in for lunch. Dinner I’d recommend a reservation. Parking is a mess but there is plenty of it if you are willing to walk because Fashion Island is ringed by a huge parking lot. The rest of Fashion Island is nice to walk around afterwards or you could obviously go right down to the beach.
A wonderful restaurant, with varied food, good taste. The menu for selecting dishes is weak. There is no barcode or pictures to fulfill the desires of the restaurant’s visitors due to the difference in languages and the lack of people’s knowledge of the types of sushi, as well as the limited options for fried cooked sushi. The prices are high. We hope to develop the menu. I recommend visiting the restaurant to experience the experience.
Sushi Roku is amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the people… absolutely fantastic. Our busboy Daniel did his job amazingly — he’s a man of many talents. He is a very nice guy and even took our picture when we asked. He was such a good busboy that we mistook him for a waiter! Very great service. Our waitress, Nicole, was also amazing and did everything we asked 100%. I think Sushi Roku may be my new favorite restaurant. I will be back.
Another 10/10 experience, the staff was so friendly, incredible food, our waitress Chanel was so accommodating, and we had such a good chat with Daniel! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Sushi RoKu has always been our favorite restaurant. We adore the fresh sushi, the ambiance, and the convenient location. The staff is friendly and it's easy to make reservations.
The sushi at this restaurant is top-notch. The interior design is lovely. However, I don't think having a loud live DJ is necessary.
Everything was great but the menu prices. I guess it's because they have to pay the Irvine Conpany lots of rent and taxes
