We were looking for somewhere for a quick meal on the Anzac weekend. When my son chose this restaurant I was dubious as I have had some unpleasant experiences elsewhere with Indian food. However, this was a pleasant surprise. When we arrived I was a little concerned that we were the only people in the restaurant - but there seemed to be take away orders in progress - it is an area with a lot of appartments. We ordered a selection of meat and vegetarian dishes and nan, and all were tasty. Unfortunately the ambience was lacking - hard to create without customers. We may have come at a particularly quiet time, and I would imagine they do more a lunch time trade. However, the place seems tired an...

The worst service we have ever seen. The old guy was so rude and disrespectful. We were served uncooked kulchas which we returned and he was yelling and pulled the basket and said he will give us new ones with a very bad tone. We were served the new ones which were really burnt and not eatable. Chicken vindaloo had raw spices and was not cooked. We still left and were paying for our meal and told him politely that this was a problem. He was so unapologetic and started yelling at us. He was mean told us that do u know khuda and all. Never go there. The restaurant is always empty and should stay like that unless they change their food and people. Extremely disappointed, incredibly awful and in...

I am part of a group of four who meet three or four times a year for a catch up lunch. For the last 5 years or so we have gone to the Tandoor, because the food was always good, it was a convenient location and the price was very reasonable ($15 for the buffet lunch). However after our last visit we decided it was time to move on. The food had lost flavour and we felt it had been sitting in the bain maree's for far too long.A great shame as it was a favourite and I had been there for several a la carte evening meals and was always very good.Very disappointed.

I thought I'll write a review as I've been coming here fortnightly with work colleagues (for a number of years). I know the world doesn't revolve around us but the lunch buffet has been the same for a long as we can remember. Same dishes can become boring, but we come back because the waitress is lovely and overall the buffet is okay but can you please mix it up a bit and make butter chicken??? Would also like to encourage more naan being served as 2 pieces between 3 people is like throwing a cat amongst the pigeons! Book a table now

- Naan shouldn't be served 5-10 minutes after the meal comes out- Naan should taste like flour- suggestion - Garlic naan should taste like garlic- Butter chicken/murg makhani shouldn't be that colour nor should it be that sour and you should want to eat all of it not leave it behind and leave the buildingDidn't want to finish the meal as my body started giving my danger signals. 'Been coming here fore years', reviewer - WHY???

We had the restaurant to ourselves and had a wonderful evening! The cocktails were just $8 and yummy! The food was delicious, but we ordered too much and had to take a doggie bag home. The mixed entrees and garlic naan - absolutely delicious.Personalised and friendly service. Just wonderful. Will go again. Highly recommended in the budget meal range. We had cocktails, wine, entrees, two dishes and rice for around $100.

We stopped in for takeaway since we were staying nearby. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered an appetiser and main to share, along with garlic naan. The naan was seriously the best I've ever tasted. I could have skipped the biryani and just eated the saag paneer and naan! Worth a stop.

This restaurant is a standard takeaway choice for my wife and I. The food is consistently good quality, never takes more than 15-20 minutes to prepare and the staff have always been absolutely lovely to deal with. The Tandoori Chicken and Naan bread are especially good. Book a table now

To be quite honest we tend to order the same things over and over again only because the food is just so good. And why change when you love a couple dishes. We dine in each time.Generous servings and reasonable prices.Wish I could afford to come here every day.
