We last went to the coffee club around a year ago and weren't impressed but decided to give it another try this morning. My husband ordered eggs benedict, both eggs were well over cooked, no run to them at all. The salmon was terrible, my husband said it was still half frozen. I ordered pancakes which was pictured with berries, when it came out there was no berries. When I asked the waitress about the berries she said you had to pay more for those, I did not see that option listed in the menu so assumed it came with the berries. The pancakes were over cooked and hard, I would have had better pancakes from Mc Donald's. After waiting over half an hour for these terrible meals we have promised...

I recommend passing on breakfast and going straight to work, then stopping for brunch at this restaurant. The kitchen staff deserves a kiss for their consistency, and the coffee is excellent. I notice many new mothers meeting here every morning, and they seem to be lovely people enjoying each other's company. The food is fresh, the service is good, and they open early and close late. The portions are generously sized, which is great for both workers and families with young children.
Stopped in for brunch before shopping. Very busy 20min wait for food which we were advised of. Eggs benny with bacon - bacon cooked as ordered (crispy), eggs runny and toast tasty. Overall very pleasant altho eggs drowned in hollandaise. Other meal was grilled haloumi bruschetta. Haloumi was crumbed and deep fried not grilled which made it very rubbery, lots of pesto not much tomato. Menu indicated grilled haloumi on a base of fresh tomato. Did not live up to as good as it sounded.
Ever since 2010 the standards at the Coffee Club franchise has dipped. Here in Gungahlin it is no different. You can taste the food is frozen or bad quality and it has become a fast food chain masquerading as a cafe. Consequently the food doesn't have much flavour. The coffee is alright on a good day but not great. Despite all this they still charge quite a bit of money for their menu. Book a table now
Just returned from lunch with a friend at this cafe. Pretty busy, we arrived just 12 o'clock to find ourselves a dirty table next to another empty table with a couple of plates of uneaten meals (should taken this as a hint). Waited forever for our disappointing meals (35 minutes)....oily cold and quite frankly pretty bad. Won't be eating here again.
The Coffee Club Gunghalin is situated in the heart of the Gunghalin shopping precinct. The food was decent enough (I had a very filling Pastrami, onion relish and cheese sandwich with chips) and the service was good.As an added bonus, kids receive an activity pack to keep them entertained.
Today, we gave a try in this Coffee Club, we are surprise their food services are **** absolutely outstanding. Although they are really busy, their staff are still really friendly to all the customers with smile, we enjoy there and will keep going there. Highly recommended to everyone.
Had Eggs Benedict here a couple of times now as. 2 x eggs Benny with single hash brown & coffee = $55.00+. not cheap but very nice and good portions. Coffee is nice. Staff can be a bit brusque when pressed but give them a chance - they are generally lovely. Book a table now
We went to this restaurant for brunch. The coffee was great, and the brunch was delicious once it arrived. We ordered the pumpkin and feta tortillas, which were excellent. The staff appeared busy but were still friendly. I would definitely come back again.
