Yesterday, I took my family out for lunch at this restaurant. It took us a bit of time to find the place, as it is located in a remote village just outside Droitwich. The pub has a large car park at the back and customers can enter through the back door and turn right into the bar. We opted to sit at a table in the bar rather than in the small restaurant. For starters, my mum had fried mushrooms, I had whitebait and squid, and my little one had prawns with Ciabatta bread. All the food was well prepared and gave us the impression of being in a more upscale restaurant. For the main course, we ordered Fish and Chips with mushy peas, a large brie and bacon sandwich with fries for me, and a 12 oz...
We have reviewed this pub before but as it keeps delivering it deserves another positive review! We normally cycle down as its only around 10 miles and a lovely ride plus we get to sample the Bathams! The food is brilliant and delivers every time which sadly many pubs do not. We think the prices (not gone up) are excellent the service excellent the location? yes excellent. Staff are brilliant and trust me the landlady knows exactly what she is doing! spot on service does not go unnoticed nowadays. Thank you all at the Galton A PROPER PUB!
Went for annual Christmas Dinner with friends and to say the whole experience was brilliant would be a massive understatement. From booking to eating the service was faultless and nothing to much trouble. The food was excellent and we all can’t wait to return and as said the staff were brilliant. An excellent family run venue.
We went to the Galton last night with friends, The atmosphere in the pub is friendly and welcoming, The men had Sirloin steaks, which I have to say were the best I have had for a while. Sea Bass and Bangers Mash for the Ladies. The food was excellent and of course the added bonus of Bathams at the bar was the icing on the cake

My family and I were visiting places where my Dad was evacuated during WW2 from Birmingham. We stopped at the pub for drinks and directions. The staff and locals gave us a warm welcome and helped us find the property we were looking for. It really made my Dad's day. Thank you.
Along with a group of friends, we followed a walk around the beautiful Worcestershire countryside with lunch at the Galton Arms. The food and service were excellent, the atmosphere friendly and the cost was not at all prohibitive, given the current national financial crisis.
We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past month and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. My husband particularly loves the pork belly dish! We definitely plan on returning soon.
Popped in on a chilly winters lunchtime and found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The pork belly was delicious and the cider gravy really complimented the meat.
